As we continue our Year-Long Ballet Program, we’re thrilled to announce our upcoming Fall Level Review Week from November 18-23, 2024. This is an essential moment for our dancers, designed not just as a checkpoint in their training but as a pivotal opportunity for growth and improvement.
Ballet is more than just an art form; it’s a lifelong practice that requires dedication, discipline, and a willingness to learn. Regular feedback is crucial in this journey, allowing dancers to refine their technique and enhance their performance. This review week will focus on providing personalized insights into each dancer’s progress from August, September, and October, helping them identify areas for improvement.
We believe that keeping parents informed and engaged is vital for the success of our dancers. You play a crucial role in your child’s journey, and we want to ensure that everyone is on the same page. By inviting you to observe the reviews, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of the feedback process and how it can support your child’s development. This also gives you the chance to meet our dedicated faculty members, who are committed to nurturing each dancer’s potential.
To accommodate the reviews, class schedules will be adjusted during this week. Additionally, we’ll post a comprehensive overview of the evaluation criteria on the bulletin board by the front desk. This will give you valuable insights into what our instructors will be focusing on, further empowering you to support your dancer at home.
After the reviews, our faculty will convene to discuss each dancer’s performance. Expect a progress review update via email within a couple of weeks. This will provide you with specific feedback to help your child continue to grow and thrive in their ballet practice.
We’re looking forward to this important event and to collaborating with you in supporting your child’s ongoing journey in ballet. Together, we can ensure that every dancer feels confident and inspired as they progress in their training!
If a student is unable to attend their scheduled review time, a makeup session can be scheduled for a fee by email admin@ipballet.org.
