Frequently Asked Questions
What does tuition cover?
- Tuition covers the entire school year, from August to June. This means you are responsible for the tuition for the entire year, regardless of attendance or missed classes. The fee is divided into one, two, three, or four payment plans, depending on the option you choose when signing the program tuition contract. Tuition already accounts for holidays and studio closures.
Can I get a refund if my child withdraws mid-year?
- No, refunds will not be issued if a student withdraws from classes during the school year. Once enrolled, the student is committed to the full school year, and is responsible for the year’s tuition. Withdrawals must be made by email, in-person requests will not be considered valid.
What happens if my child misses a class?
- There are no pro-rations or refunds for missed classes. If a student misses a class, they can make up the missed class by attending one make-up session per month. The make-up class must be in the same genre and level as the missed class, or one level lower. If a student is absent frequently and fails to meet the required number of classes for their level and division, they will be moved to the recreational program.
Is there a dress code?
- Each level has their own dress code. Students have a month from their first day of class to acquire the appropriate dress code.
Why is it important for my dancer to arrive on time?
- Arriving on time ensures your dancer doesn’t miss the warm-up, which is essential for preventing injuries and getting focused for class. Late arrivals can also disrupt the flow of the class and the learning experience for others. For everyone’s benefit, students arriving 10 minutes late or more won’t be allowed to join the class. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and productive environment!
