Elizabeth Guzman is a 14-year-old freshman of Granite Mountain Charter School, living in Southern California. She has been a dedicated ballet dancer since age four, training with Inland Pacific Ballet Academy since she was five. Elizabeth enjoys participating in IPB Academy’s summer intensive program, which she has attended for the past seven years. She looks forward to the annual IPB Academy spring recital every year, where she has performed in productions such as Sleeping Beauty, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Coppelia, Swan Lake, and The Little Mermaid. Additionally, she has been a part of Inland Pacific Ballet’s The Nutcracker for the past eight years, with dream roles including Spanish Soloist, Arabian, and Clara. She has also performed in IPB Company productions of LilYpada, Beauty and the Beast, and Cinderella.
Elizabeth is also passionate about musical theater. She is part of a Musical Theater Troupe, where she loves to sing and dance. She has performed in musicals such as Beauty and the Beast Jr., The Lion King Jr., Mary Poppins Jr., Seussical Jr., The Wizard of Oz Jr., Matilda Jr. (as Amanda), and Willy Wonka Jr. (as Violet).
In addition to her dance and theater pursuits, Elizabeth has been volunteering for the past few months as a teacher’s assistant with the Pre-Ballet and Level 1 dancers, sharing her love for dance and helping younger students develop their skills.
Elizabeth is excited and grateful to be a Jr. Trainee for Inland Pacific Ballet and is looking forward to a great season.
