Ella Chang began training at Inland Pacific Ballet Academy at the age of 7. She is currently 16 years old and is thrilled to be part of IPBII this year. Ella has danced in 7 seasons of Inland Pacific Ballet’s The Nutcracker. Last season she had the honor of dancing the role of Clara. Throughout the years she has also performed in numerous IPB Academy recitals. She competed in the Youth America Grand Prix in 2022 and 2023 placing Top 12 in the classical category both years. To further her ballet endeavors, Ella has attended American Ballet Theatre, Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Ellison Ballet, San Francisco Ballet School, and Royal Danish Ballet’s summer intensive programs. She has received scholarship offers from Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Next Generation Ballet, Washington School of Ballet, Alberta Ballet School, Colorado Ballet Academy, Oklahoma City Ballet School, and Royal Danish Ballet. Thank you to her teachers who have given her the tools to make all these achievements possible. Ella is forever grateful for her training, friendships, and opportunities at IPBA and is excited for the upcoming season.
