Enya Wang was five years old when she watched her first live stage ballet, an Outreach production of Inland Pacific Ballet’s Beauty and the Beast. Around that time, she was dancing at the Village Dance Arts and training at Baldy View Gymnastics Center after school. Enya left the local dance studio and her gymnastics work a few years later to focus on and further her studies of dance at Inland Pacific Ballet Academy. Since joining the school, Enya has performed in six seasons of The Nutcracker and appeared in the annual Academy Spring Recitals Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Swan Lake, and The Little Mermaid. She participated in five consecutive years of IPB Academy’s Summer Intensive, spent the summer of 2022 at Boston Ballet’s Summer Dance Program, and attended six weeks of Bolshoi Ballet Academy Summer Intensive in 2023. Enya has competed in YAGP since 2022 and was among the ensemble groups invited to represent IPBA at the YAGP Tampa Finals in 2022 and 2023. Enya is a sophomore at Claremont High School, an experienced pianist, an avid reader and writer, and a culinary and visual arts enthusiast. Enya is immensely grateful to the exceptional faculty and dancers at Inland Pacific Ballet and is committed to another wonderful season.
