My name is Jacklyn Hsiao, and I am 16 years old and an IPB Academy apprentice at Inland Pacific Ballet. I currently attend Chino Hills High School as a junior. I have been dancing since I was around 9 but did not do strictly ballet until I was around 13. I have performed in Inland Pacific Ballet Academy’s spring recitals. I am excited to be part of IPB’s productions like Fall Fest and The Nutcracker this season. For fun, I love to go on walks, especially hikes by the beach and I love spending time with my friends, family and my dog. I love to explore and travel, and would love to go on a trip around Europe preferably Iceland and Switzerland. My top destinations I have been to so far are Hawaii, Taiwan as well as Chicago. My goal is to be an architectural engineer when I am older and get my bachelors in civil engineering and a masters in architecture. Additionally, I enjoy reading in my free time, watching movies, as well as cooking. My favorite memories at IPBA so far have been the recital as well as competing at YAGP this past year. I am very excited to be a part of all the opportunities this year and to invest my time at the studio and be involved.
