Madeline McMillin is from Plano, Texas. She studied at Hathaway Academy of Ballet and Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas. She attended summer programs at San Francisco Ballet School, School of American Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet School, European School of Ballet, and Boston Ballet School on scholarship.
Madeline danced in the professional division of Pacific Northwest Ballet for two years, training in the school and performing with the company. From there, she danced with Nevada Ballet Theatre for one season in Las Vegas and had the opportunity to perform with Cirque du Soleil.
Madeline joined Los Angeles Ballet the following year and danced in the corps de ballet for six years. Some of her favorite performance experiences include George Balanchine’s Serenade, Swan Lake, and the principal role in Christopher Wheeldon’s Scenes de Ballet.
