Sophia Rea

Trainee

Sophia has studied various forms of dance from the young age of 2.  She fell in love with ballet at age 7 while in the audience of Inland Pacific Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker. “When I saw the smiles on the little bon bons as they emerged from Mother Ginger’s dress, I realized then that ballet is for me. I love the thrill of being on stage where I may let my emotions draw out my best performance. When on stage my smile is most genuine. I really enjoy collaborating with my fellow dancers and teachers. Professionally or not, ballet will be lifelong for me.” Sophia started her focus on classical ballet training at Inland Pacific Ballet Academy at the age of 8.  She has since performed in various recital productions at IPB Academy including, Coppélia, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Swan Lake, The Little Mermaid, and The Sleeping Beauty. She has been cast in IPB’s annual production of The Nutcracker in numerous roles through the years.
