Inland Pacific Ballet is excited to introduce its inaugural Young Person’s Guide to Dance in the Classroom program. This initiative, made possible with funding from the Rancho Cucamonga Community and Arts Foundation in 2023, is a collaborative effort with the RIMS California Arts Project and local K-12 dance educators.

The flexible program offers a range of dance instruction that can be integrated into your classroom in 45-90 minute sessions. Each lesson is designed to meet the California State Content Standards for Dance and can be customized for different grade levels. We welcome interest from all types of schools provided you have an appropriate space to conduct the program.

The program, which incurs a fee, provides the option to bring 2-6 dancers from the IPB II Studio Company or IPBA Apprentice/Trainee program to your classroom or school for various types of sessions, including:

Introductory lessons on dance as an art form.
A pre-performance activity for students attending an IPB School Field Trip Performance.
An extended residency with weekly instruction over a period of up to 12 weeks.
A master class for middle or high school dance students.
